In Net Feasa, the PLM is instrumental in driving the end-to-end success of our products, from enhancing existing features to developing new ones, all while maintaining a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics. This role encompasses everything from the ideation phase to product lifecycle management, requiring a dedication to enhancing customer satisfaction and growing market share.
The PLM maintains, tracks and monitors a portfolio of assigned products and product lines. Defines products, prioritizes development & sustaining activities and develops pricing, positioning, and promotion strategies. Utilizes, product and market intelligence and competitive analysis with the objective of increasing market share.
The PLM is a customer advocate, fully understanding the customer's business and articulating any relevant market problems to develop requirements for new products or features. Liaises with Engineering throughout the development cycle, while continuously working to ensure market success when the development is completed.
Key Responsibilities
* Utilize Market Research & inputs from Sales, Engineering & Support to establish global/general, current and future market needs
* Maintain Net Feasa current product vision: technical and market strategy
* Target Market segments and technical and commercial requirements to differentiate and win
* Functions & features
* Branding/naming conventions
* Integrations and partnership / collaboration requirements
* Lifecycle management: Maintain time-based Product Roadmap – Stages 1-6 for all assigned products/features
* Work across the Net Feasa functions to ensure execution plans are in place, resourced and executed on schedule
* Production, Delivery, Installation and Support plans
* Customer documentation (manuals, marketing material)
* Certification, Cyber Security etc
* Maintain business and tactical go-to-market plans for assigned product lines
* Sales support / tools (i.e. standard proposals, processes, scorecards)
* Monitor market and technical performance (feedback loop to drive adjustments to plans where needed)
Qualifications & Experience
* 2-5 Years Maritime Product Line Management or directly related experience in the Maritime industry (required)
* A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered (required).
* Experience developing products and applications in the maritime shipping and logistics industries.
* Understanding of the shipping, logistics, transportation and communications technology industries, processes, and regulations.
* Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and marketing personnel.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders and present complex information.
* Ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
* Knowledge of project management methodologies and the ability to manage PLM projects effectively.
* Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
* Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing business needs.
* Ability to effectively communicate with and manage relationships with various stakeholders.
* Understanding of relevant regulations and industry standards
* Understanding of business processes, product development workflows, and how PLM can be used to improve efficiency and profitability
