Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Chemical Process Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Chemical Engineering and experience in API production.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting process start-ups, campaigns, and turnarounds across multiple plants. This will involve generating batch records, leading investigations into process-related issues, and identifying equipment and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support process start-ups, campaigns, and turnarounds ensuring yield, quality, and safety targets.
* Generate paper & electronic batch records and automated recipes for manufacturing steps.
* Lead investigations into process-related issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
* Identify equipment and process improvements.
* Collaborate with departments like Safety, QA, Projects, and Process Chemistry for smooth production operations.
* Communicate with stakeholders, share technical expertise, and guide complex projects.
Requirements:
* Honours degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
* Minimum 1 year's experience in API production or related environment.
* Process modelling/simulation and/or data analytics experience advantageous.
