We are currently recruiting for a Senior Automation Engineer on a full time, permanent basis. You will be joining the specialist site engineering team to be based in Co. Cavan.

·Oversee all plant automation systems.
·Maintain and manage all aspects of the Plant Batching System, manufacturing communication network, and Predictive Control System.
·Oversee maintenance of Medium Voltage Equipment.
·Manage Manufacturing UPS Systems.
·Monitor and analyse trends in OSI PI, SCADA, etc.
·Consult and adhere to any relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for tasks, ensuring full understanding and compliance.
·Plan and schedule work according to plant demand and available workforce.
·Ensure all employees and contractors are fully familiar with safety rules and regulations.
·Strive to reduce product costs by improving efficiency.
·Ensure no faults occur; if they do, make necessary adjustments and conduct checks until the issue is resolved.
·Coordinate CAPA investigations that impact Engineering.
Key Criteria;
·Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent discipline.
·5+ years relevant experience in Automation engineering.
·Experience working with siemens PLCs is essential.
·Experience working on ignition (scada) would be highly advantageous advantage.
