About Wildlands:

Wildlands is a unique adventure and accommodation development set within 20 acres of mature woodlands, on the N59 overlooking Ballyquirke Lough in Moycullen, Co. Galway. Wildlands opened in August 2020 consists of:

· An adventure park with activities for all ages catering for more than 1000 per day;

· an elevated light-filled events space which holds 200+ overlooking the park;

· a contemporary 150-seater restaurant, the Olive Tree Kitchen;

· 14 luxurious wooden cabins with a birds-eye view of the park, overlooking Ballyquirke Lake (and plans for an additional 15 larger cabins in future);

· the "Wildlands Shack" retail shop and food outlet; and

· the "Wildlands Wagon", a retro custom-made Volkswagen selling coffee and treats to the public and visitors.

The Role:

We are looking for a part time Reservations Assistant to join our team at Wildlands Galway. This part time role is a fantastic opportunity to work in a busy and exciting adventure, food & beverage and hospitality park setting. You will be checking in guests on adventure and cabin bookings, answering guest queries by phone and email, and supporting the Reservations Manager and Reservations Department with general administrative duties.

Reservations Manager

Start Date:

October 2025.

What we are looking for:

● Dealing with customers

Ensure all guests are greeted on arrival, check guests into activities and cabin bookings and offer any other answers to guest queries.

Answering incoming phone calls responding to queries and forwarding calls to relevant departments where necessary.

Answering emails from customers.

Accurate payment handling across all types of payment adhering to company protocols.

Complete departmental checks such as opening and closing, fire checks, stocktaking and other tasks as requested by your manager.

To contact guests to complete outstanding payments and obtain other guest related booking information such as arrival times and waiver completion.

● The role will perform other administrative tasks which support Wildlands, during quieter periods.

Adhere to all company policies especially in relation to SOPs and Risk Assessments and other safety parameters.

● To act in accordance with the Lost Property Policy and Key Handling Policy.

● Consult with staff and management, discuss concerns, and work with your team to ensure the most efficient service and pleasant workplace environment.

● Protect the environment and educate by example and promotion of environmentally friendly practices.

● Contribute positively to the public profile of the company in your presentation, (wear uniform), friendly approachable demeanour, and punctuality.

About You:

● Some experience in a similar role is an advantage.

● Good communication skills.

● Strong work ethic.
