Departmental Overview: The New Product Introduction (NPI) department owns & maintains the overarching framework, processesandapproachthatallof ATLsnewproductsmustbedeliveredto,toensure ATLsstrategic projects are delivered in a consistent, accurate, and efficient manner.
Usingthisoverarchingframework&byapplyingbestprojectmanagement&leadershippractices,the NPIdepartmentisresponsibleforleadingthedeliveryofallproducts&strategicprojects throughthe various phases & stages of the product/projects life within time, cost, scope & quality targets.
The NPI department operate across all stages of the product life and work with a wide variety of stakeholdersaccordinglyfromearlyconceptualdesignthroughtoprocurement,manufacturing,and operation as well as developing, implementing & managing supporting processes, governance & project structures.

Role Overview: The New Product Introduction team is expanding and therefore looking for an enthusiastic & motivatedprojectprofessionaltojoinitsteam.
Thisisanexcitingopportunitytodevelopskills&grow experience in a highly innovative & dynamic organisation embarking on a mission to decarbonise the maritime industry.
The Project Manager will be given responsibility over projects within a challenging, complex, and exciting EF24 Programme and work under the direction of the Head of New Product Introduction to ultimately ensure these elements are delivered according to the goals & constraints of the EF24 Programme.
They will be entrusted to lead these projects in collaboration with the EF24 Chief Technical Project Engineer proactivelymanaging, problem solving, escalatingissues, andidentifying risks for their assigned projects.
The Project Manager will be responsible for stakeholder management for their projects & will be required to engage with external & internal stakeholders, including suppliers and sub-contractors.
They will also assist the Head of New Product Introduction in overall programme governance as well asdeveloping&maturingthesuiteofproject&programmemanagementrelatedprocessesandtools.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Collaboratewithcross-functionalteamstodefine,mature,&manageprojectswithinthe EF24 programme Lead&managecross-functionalprojectsandteamsindynamicenvironment Actaspointofcontactforbothinternal&externalcustomers/stakeholdersforprojectsunder their responsibility Managementofsuppliers&sub-contractors Develop detailed plans & timelines for assigned projects and produce clear picture of howthese fit in and impact the overall programme Track and monitor progress, identify & track potential risks & issues, and report deviationsaway from the plan Proactively problem solve & come up with mitigation strategies to risks or issues to prevent delays or issues to project delivery and/or ensure these are escalated as required Regularly report project status & progress to Head of NPI and other senior stakeholders tofeed into overall NPI Master Programme & other forums Facilitateeffectivecommunication&collaborationacrossdepartmentsandfunctions Support&assistthe Headof NPIwithallaspectsofprojectmanagement Complywith ATLspolicies&procedures Demonstrate&maintaininitiative,energy&apositiveapproachinadynamicenvironment Knowledge And Specialist Skills: Education: Educatedtodegreelevelinarelevantdisciplineorequivalentexperience Required Experience: Minimum3yearsexperienceinprojectmanagement/leadershiproleorequivalent, preferably in innovative engineering & manufacturing environment.
Preferred Experience: Experienceinmaritime,automotive,aerospace,de-carbonisation/zero-emissionssectors Project Management Qualificationor Certification(e.g.
