As a Duty Manager within our team here at University Hospital Galway, you will be helping us to deliver our catering services to those requiring the hospital's facilities. Job ResponsibilitiesTo support and supervise the delivery of Patient Food Services across the hospitalEnsuring that our teams strive to improve the experience of all patients where they require our servicesResponding efficiently and accurately to customer feedback regarding products & services and ensuring prompt corrective actions are put in place where required. Supporting SOP implementation is in place for all aspects of service Monitoring compliance as per Company food safety policies and procedures and legislative requirementsProviding timely and constructive feedback to all direct reports as and when required either formally or informallyTraining employees on SOP's and best practices in customer service. To follow all reasonable instructions from the Wards Manager
QualificationsPrevious experience in a similar role or supervising in a fast-paced catering business. An interest in people and the drive to deliver exceptional serviceA Strong background in hospitality or catering is essential. Excellent customer service & time management skills.Knowledge of Food Hygiene including HACCP.A problem-solving mind and solutions-orientated approach with a flexible can-do attitude.Garda Vetting is a requirement for this roleAramark Northern Europe is an equal opportunities employer
