In this hands‑on leadership role, you will shape and deliver a bold, multi‑year fundraising strategy, unlocking new and diverse income streams while leading a passionate team across individual giving, community fundraising, and corporate partnerships.
Working at the heart of the organisation alongside the CEO, Senior Leadership Team, and trustees, you will play a pivotal role in driving sustainable growth and amplifying our impact—leaving a lasting legacy through the relationships you build and the vision you deliver.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Growth: Lead the development and execution of a multi-year fundraising strategy, driving income growth from €2.5m to €5m over 3-4 years.
Senior Leadership: Contribute to strategic planning, organisational decision-making, and cross‑functional leadership as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team.
Donor Cultivation: Personally cultivate and secure transformational gifts and high‑value corporate partnerships, acting as a credible and compelling ambassador at the highest level.
Team Management: Build, lead, and inspire a high‑performing fundraising team—setting clear objectives, fostering accountability, and creating a culture of excellence and innovation.
Income Diversification: Oversee and grow diversified income streams across major donors, individual giving, community fundraising, and corporate partnerships.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work with the CEO, Board of Trustees, and senior volunteers to maximise fundraising opportunities and strengthen governance.
Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, forecasting, and regular reporting of KPIs and income performance to senior leadership.
Brand Ambassadorship: Champion the mission and values externally, building profile, influence, and reputation among donors and the broader community.
Senior Expertise: Significant experience in a senior fundraising role within the NGO or charity sector.
Financial Track Record: Proven success in managing and growing multi‑million euro fundraising income across all aspects of fundraising.
Stream Mastery: Demonstrated success across individual giving, community fundraising, and corporate partnerships.
