This position is well suited to an early-career scientist who enjoys hands-on laboratory work and contributing to high-quality analytical outputs. The role involves carrying out routine laboratory testing while also supporting the ongoing enhancement and validation of analytical methods within a regulated environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out routine analytical testing using techniques such as ELISA, HPLC, and pharmacopeial methods.Support the development, refinement, and validation of analytical methods in line with project needs and regulatory expectations.Record, review, and interpret experimental data accurately, ensuring clear and compliant documentation.Investigate and resolve technical or equipment-related issues as they arise in day-to-day testing.Take responsibility for laboratory upkeep, including equipment care, reagent preparation, and stock control.Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet project timelines and maintain efficient laboratory operations.Communicate progress, results, and any challenges clearly to team members and supervisors.Operate in full compliance with internal policies, GMP requirements, safety procedures, and material handling standards.Who You AreA motivated scientist with strong attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity.Comfortable working in a structured, regulated laboratory environment.Adaptable and keen to learn new techniques and methodologies.Organised, able to manage multiple tasks, and work effectively to deadlines.Confident in documenting scientific work and communicating findings clearly.Where You Come FromBachelor's degree (or equivalent) with up to three years' relevant laboratory experience, orMaster's degree (or equivalent) with approximately one year's practical experience.Hands-on Experience Performing Quantitative ELISA Assays Is Essential.Exposure to HPLC and/or compendial testing is an advantage.Previous experience in a regulated or quality-driven environment is beneficial.What We OfferExposure to a variety of analytical techniques and regulated laboratory practices.A supportive environment focused on skill development and continuous improvement.The chance to contribute meaningfully to ongoing scientific projects and laboratory operations.
