The hotel is approximately 1.2 km from the centre of Killaloe, and overlooks the Kincora Marina which has direct boating access to Lough Derg / The River Shannon. The property comprises of a substantial modern hotel having 35 en suite bedrooms, lounge, function room, kitchen, bar, reception, ancillary areas and a spa that is currently under construction. The hotel has a commanding view over Lough Derg to the rear with ample car-parking and gardens to the front. The property has been refurbished throughout and is finished to a very high standard. The main purpose of the role is to assist in the delivery of hotel revenue and profit growth through good planning, efficient production and cost control, particularly in your area(s) of responsibility and within the Spa Department as a whole. Primary Duties Oversee the entire Spa operation to ensure quality service and standards while delivering a guest experience that is unique. Ensure compliance with all health & safety requirements Ensure guest satisfaction & follow up with guest feedback Promote spa products and increase spa product sales Create and train on SOP's Roster of staff-maintain schedule Ensure correct maintenance of equipment and coordinate maintenance & service as required Be passionate about world class hospitality service in a 5* environment Responsibility for the financial returns of the Spa and driving the business forward Management of a team of highly trained Spa therapists and Attendants with a focus on training and development Requirements 3 Years minimum experience Ideally pool plant qualified Phorest Social media Great guest service-be the face of the spa The ideal candidate will have 3 years of Spa experience with at least 2 years in a management role.
