The Role:
Due to a growing pipeline of
data centre
projects, our client is seeking a BIM Technician to join their tight-knit team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to develop their BIM skills in a supportive environment, working directly with directors and senior team members in line with
ISO 19650 standards
.
You will be responsible for creating and developing detailed 3D models using BIM software, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project specifications and information requirements. The role also involves producing technical drawings and detailing, contributing to mission-critical projects and gaining valuable hands-on experience in structured BIM workflows.
Required Background:
* A relevant degree in Architectural Technology, Architecture, Engineering or similar.
* 2+ years' experience in the industry
* Revit & Navisworks experience is a must
* Thorough knowledge of CDEs
* Experience in CSA/MEP models in line with ISO 19650 standards.
* Prior experience in
data centre
projects is highly beneficial
* Must be able to convey accurate information to different stakeholders effectively
* Self-driven and willing to learn, adopting a 'can do' mentality and work ethic
