Advanced Nurse Practitioner – Emergency
The ANP/ RANP will provide an advanced nurse‑led service within the Emergency Department (ED). The patient cohort will be extracted from the Minors stream of patients who fall within the ANP scope of practice.
In addition, the service is extended to a RANP‑led service in the Minor Injuries Unit at Louth County Hospital, providing care and treatment to adults and children (>5 years) who present with non‑life‑threatening, non‑limb‑threatening injuries.
The role is part of the Louth Hospitals Group, supporting the ED and Minor Injuries Unit to deliver continuity of care to the catchment population.
Provide advanced nurse‑led care in the Emergency Department.
Assess and treat adults and children >5 years with non‑life and non‑limb threatening injuries.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the Louth Hospitals Group.
