We are currently working with a leading financial services organisation who are looking to hire a Solutions Architect to join their IT Architecture team.The role will be responsible for ensuring solution architectures are secure-by-design, resilient, DORA compliant and aligned to our clients target enterprise and application architecture.You will join an established architecture team consisting of a Head of IT Architecture, Infrastructure Architect, Data Architect and Solution Architects, working on enterprise-scale projects across the organisation.The RoleWork closely with development and operations teams to design solutionsEnsure solutions are secure by design, resilient and compliantAlign solutions with enterprise architecture and integration strategyPresent designs to architecture governance and design authorityDefine architecture standards, patterns and best practicesSupport IT strategy and future architecture roadmapWork in a highly regulated environment with strong governance and change controlsThis role is hands‑on architecture, but not hands‑on coding or system changes.RequirementsDemonstrable experience working as a Solutions Architect (non-negotiable)Strong experience designing solutions in on-prem environments with SaaS integrationsExperience with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 or Azure environmentsExperience with API and event‑based integrationExperience working in regulated or governance‑heavy environments preferredArchitecture certification such as TOGAF beneficialStrong stakeholder and communication skillsThis organisation operates in a highly regulated environment, so candidates must be comfortable working in structured environments with governance, controls and slower change processes compared to consulting or startup environments.
