The role will require the effective deployment of field staff, exceptional customer service, adherence to quality and safety standards and the smooth execution of all project‑related activities.Reporting to our Operations Director and based out of our head office in Millennium Park, Naas, Co Kildare, below are the primary responsibilities of the role:Customer & Project OperationsBeing the primary operational contact for designated customers, providing day‑to‑day support and technical coordination.Forecasting job opportunities and planning operational requirements accordingly.Preparing and issuing timely and accurate quotations.Ensuring purchase orders are received, signed and recorded accordingly.Assigning appropriate manpower resources and tooling.Liaising with customers during project execution (remote technical support, coordinating field staff movements, managing general queries and expectations)Ensuring quality reporting is developed and submitted as required.Ensuring customer health and safety policies and procedures are followed.Ensuring Real Time Cost Trackers (RTCT) are developed and accurate.Coordinating customer service quality meetings (remote & face to face) as requiredField Staff ManagementBuilding strong working relationships with new and existing field staff, keeping regular communications.Executing hiring activities, agreeing rates/salaries and supporting onboarding.Ensuring all field staff maintain up‑to‑date and appropriate training and certifications.Communicating upcoming projects and coordinating field movementsConducting field staff appraisals and contribute to personnel development planning.Coordinating operational systems support as and when required.Internal Coordination & CollaborationLiaising closely with other OFS departments to align scheduling, deadlines, and operational processes.Sharing relevant updates and operational information across teams.Collaborating on internal and customer-facing projects to ensure safe, profitable, and efficient outcomes.Facilitating communication between departments, bridging gaps and resolving operational issues.Any other reasonable tasks associated with the roleExperience & Skills required:Degree in any relevant Engineering Discipline (or equivalent hands-on experience)Minimum 5+ years previous field service experienceExperience working within the power generation and/or Oil & Gas industry.Previous experience in a similar role or leading a team would be an advantage.Demonstrated experience and technical understanding with ability to lead/manage across functions to deliver required results.Excellent decision-making capabilities with the ability to understand the context of technical feasibility and evolving scenarios.High level of creativity in finding technical and commercial solutionsPrevious experience in the staffing of projects both in-house and in-field.Have a practical mindset with hands-on experience in project management and key account managementHave strong networking capabilities.Requirements of the role:Local and International travelOccasional on‑call or out‑of‑hours support depending on project requirementsHybrid working available, based on company policy.OFS provide a comprehensive benefits package reflecting our commitment to our people.To apply for this opportunity, please click on the appropriate link for immediate consideration.No Agencies please.
