Job Title: Project Manager Educational Construction Project Location: County Galway Job Type: Full-Time Sector: Construction / Education Infrastructure About the Role We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to oversee the construction of a large-scale educational building in County Galway.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the planning, coordination, and delivery of the project from pre-construction through to completion and handover, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all phases of the construction project lifecycle Develop and maintain detailed project plans, programmes, and budgets Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors Ensure compliance with Irish building regulations, planning requirements, and health & safety legislation Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies Chair site meetings and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders Manage procurement processes and contract administration Ensure quality assurance standards are met throughout construction Oversee commissioning, snagging, and final handover Requirements Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline Minimum 710 years experience in construction project management Proven experience managing large-scale public or educational infrastructure projects Strong knowledge of Irish construction regulations and procurement processes Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar) Strong financial and commercial acumen Full, clean driving licence What We Offer Competitive salary (commensurate with experience) Opportunity to lead a high-profile educational development Collaborative and professional working environment Career progression opportunities within a growing organisation
