Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project / Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This is a full-time, predominantly office based role from our HQ in Dublin 4. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing cost control and management throughout all project stages on a wide and diverse suite of exciting projects, preparing bills of quantities (BOQ), developing cost plans, and producing accurate cost reports. Additionally, they will work closely with project stakeholders to ensure budgetary goals and timelines are achieved, while proactively addressing project challenges and changes, all under the tutelage of senior KSN members of staff.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Cost Control and Cost Management to ensure efficient budget oversight and support project financial goals.
* Experience in preparing BOQ and strong competency in Cost Planning for accurate project estimation and planning.
* Ability to develop and maintain detailed Cost Reporting systems to monitor project progress and expenditure.
* Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with KSN team members, design team members and stakeholders.
* Irish NFQ Level 7, or equivalent, Education in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
* SCSI/RICS Chartership, or on the path to attaining same, is desirable.
* References will be required, as this is an extremely important role.
