SHEQ Advisor Co.Check out the role overview below If you are confident you have got the right skills and experience, apply today.Laois A well-established civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced SHEQ Advisor for a windfarm project based in Co.Laois.This fixed-term role (15 months) will be responsible for supporting health & safety, environmental, and quality compliance across civil engineering works, including windfarm infrastructure works such as site roads, trenching/ducting, crane hard standings, public road works, and wind turbine foundations.The successful candidate will work closely with the Project and Contracts Manager to ensure accurate, compliant, and proactive SHEQ delivery.This role suits a detail-focused SHEQ professional with strong auditing, reporting, and communication skills.Role: Review, update, and communicate all Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures.Conduct regular site audits, inspections, and investigations; compile reports and ensure corrective actions are implemented.Develop and review Method Statements and Risk Assessments.Record, investigate, and follow up on all accidents and near-miss events.Deliver site inductions to employees, contractors, and visitors.Plan, coordinate, and monitor SHEQ training requirements.Maintain and update all SHEQ administration and documentation in line with ISO, ISO, and ISO 9001:2015.Support continuous improvement of SHEQ systems, processes, and project compliance.Requirements: NEBOSH qualification.Minimum 2 years relevant experience in a similar SHEQ / Health & Safety role within construction or civil engineering.Experience on civils / construction projects; experience in roads, trenching/ducting, and underground services advantageous.Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.Strong IT proficiency, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.Full valid driving licence.Right to work in Ireland.Package: Salary €50 €60/ hr (negotiable, subject to experience).Company vehicle.Excellent benefits.If you are a SHEQ Advisor seeking a new challenge, please contact Amy Maguire for a confidential discussion or send your CV to.We will never send your CV to clients without your permission.
