About the role
Position: Health Care Assistant (HCA)
Key responsibilities:
Receive patients to the clinical area with courtesy
Orient new patients to the clinical area and hospital environment
Ensure each patient bay is stocked with required equipment
Support patients with hygiene, nutrition and mobilisation needs as directed
Maintain cleanliness of clinical and waiting areas
Qualifications
Requirements:
Leaving Certificate or equivalent
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BCSN) in Ireland, in the 2nd year
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure
Flexible approach to work

For Healthcare Assistants who are not contracted to work full‑time (39 hours) or are casual, part‑time hourly rates apply as outlined. Once hours reach 39 per week, rates will be as per full‑time rates.
