Location: Carlow (Hybrid)
Salary: 75-90K DOE + bonus + benefits package
About the Role Hiring on behalf of a client seeking a Senior Business Analyst to drive requirements and delivery within Agile squads supporting digital transformation for a leading income protection provider. You'll partner with Product Owners, IT Leadership, SMEs, and Architects to shape user stories, ensure traceability, and deliver measurable business value across a portfolio of critical applications.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead requirements elicitation, story decomposition, and backlog refinement in collaboration with Agile teams and Product Owners.
2. Document functional/non-functional requirements with full traceability and alignment to strategic roadmaps.
3. Embed KPIs and success metrics into development activities to drive measurable outcomes.
4. Identify and manage cross-team dependencies and risks.
5. Leverage client personas and business insights to prioritise features and enhance user experience.
6. Partner with UX, architecture, and external teams to design scalable, user-centric solutions.
7. Maintain ALM tools, provide progress updates, and facilitate stand-ups and stakeholder sessions.
8. Mentor junior BAs and champion continuous improvement in analysis practices.
9. Stay current with industry trends to influence strategic direction.
Requirements
10. Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
11. 6+ years as a Business Analyst in Agile environments with proven leadership.
12. Strong expertise in backlog management, process mapping, and advanced elicitation techniques.
13. Excellent analytical, critical thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
14. Demonstrated mentoring and team development experience.
15. Experience with Salesforce and/or MuleSoft platforms highly advantageous.
16. IIBA, SAFe, or similar certification preferred.
