Position: Sales & Events Manager

Salary: €45,000 per annum
The Noel Group is pleased to collaborate with a distinguished client in the hospitality sector recruiting for a Sales & Events Manager in Galway.
This is a pivotal commercial position centred on generating income through dynamic sales initiatives, administering event requests from prospect to delivery, and guaranteeing outstanding execution of all conferences, celebrations, and corporate gatherings.
The Role
Administer and finalise all incoming sales and event requests spanning weddings, corporate, and social occasions
Actively cultivate new business opportunities via local enterprise networks, destination partners, and event specialists
Undertake venue tours, stakeholder consultations, and client demonstrations to enhance closure performance
Manage the complete event journey from initial contact through completion and follow-up engagement
Collaborate with operations, catering, and culinary departments to deliver flawless event experiences
Create proposals, documentation, and comprehensive event specifications aligned with client expectations
Build and nurture enduring connections with returning clients and priority contacts
Attain and surpass quarterly and annual financial objectives
Deliver all events to premium standards, maintaining alignment with organisational brand values
Requirements to be Considered
Previous experience in the Hospitality sector required
Demonstrated background in an equivalent Sales & Events capacity or readiness to advance in their career
Strong business acumen with established track record of closing commercial deals
Superior communication, persuasion, and planning capabilities
Competency to oversee concurrent events and workload demands in a high-energy workplace
Based in Ireland with authorisation to work in the Republic of Ireland
