This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in accounting, gain hands-on experience, and work towards a professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent).Tralee basedKey Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companiesSupport the production of management accounts and financial reportsPerform bookkeeping duties using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage)Reconcile bank statements and maintain client ledgersAssist in the preparation and filing of VAT returns and tax returnsLiaise with clients by phone and email regarding queries and documentationSupport with payroll processing and related compliance tasksMaintain accurate and up-to-date client recordsCarry out administrative duties to support the smooth running of the practiceCandidate Requirements:Essential:A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (or working towards)Strong numeracy and analytical skillsExcellent attention to detail and organisational abilitiesGood written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office toolsEagerness to learn and develop within the accounting professionCplCorkFinApplyNowplus
