You will be responsible for delivering safe, secure and customer focused services while ensuring implementation of strategic plans to grow and maximise the business.
Responsibilities
Develop business strategy for Ireland to maximise the long-term financial performance and cash generation and ensure achievement of objectives.
Strategic planning over a 2-to-3-year period.
Oversee and integrate the various diverse functions within the business to ensure alignment and achievement of the organisation's strategic objectives.
Ensure the workforce plan is sufficient to meet operational delivery needs.
Develop and oversee implementation of business policies, procedures, and controls to ensure procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled.
Develop and present annual budgets (consolidated profit and loss statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement), and expectations on investments, staff, and productivity for the Ireland business.
Drive change through continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices keeping abreast of industry best practices to maximise business efficiencies in line with agreed targets.
Effectively balance strategic and tactical considerations when dealing with defined problems and in implementing solutions.
Act in the best interest of the company always, ensure all business decisions are made based on authority level limits and after the appropriate level of due diligence and risk analysis has been carried out.
Develop a customer strategy that delivers revenue growth.
Build and strengthen long-term relationships with existing clients, prospective clients, and external stakeholders to seek new business opportunities and grow business networks.
Set clear and measurable objectives for direct reports at functional/department level on an annual basis.
Drive performance accountability and enable the team to achieve outstanding results through appropriate support and resourcing.
Practical & technical knowledge
12+ years of experience in operations, including at least 6 years in a managerial role.
Experience in Irish Law and Regulations
Bachelor's degree in related field
Outstanding knowledge of all aspects of operations, as well as strong business acumen to oversee all aspects of each business in the region
Excellent M&A capability
Advanced Budget and Cost Control Knowledge
Strong Communication Skills
