Job OverviewThe Citi Integrated Digital Assets Platform (CIDAP) is a strategic initiative to build the financial market infrastructure of the future. The platform delivers institutional‑grade products for the tokenization, custody, financing, and trading of digital assets. This role is for a Senior Development Engineer who will support platform hardening, partner management, production support, and incident lifecycle management.ResponsibilitiesPartner with multiple management teams to integrate functions, define system enhancements, and deploy new products and process improvements.Resolve high‑impact problems through in‑depth evaluation of complex business processes and industry standards.Ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint and provide expertise in application programming.Develop coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards.Analyze how architecture, infrastructure, and business functions interact to achieve goals.Provide analysis and innovative solutions to complex issues.Coach mid‑level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary.Assess risk in business decisions, comply with laws, rules, and policies, and report control issues transparently.Design and implement features to enhance platform monitoring, observability, resiliency, and recoverability.Diagnose, debug, and resolve complex software and infrastructure issues.Manage high‑priority support tickets, prioritizing based on severity and ensuring timely resolution.Investigate logs and code to identify root causes of issues.Perform system configuration and routine maintenance to ensure stability and compliance.Create and update internal knowledge base articles, FAQ guides, and technical documentation.Collaborate with engineering and production support teams to report bugs and suggest product enhancements.Requirements and QualificationsEducation: BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.Experience: Proven, in‑depth hands‑on experience in full software development and testing lifecycle, software engineering, development support, or quality assurance.Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of Spring Boot (Java) and AngularJS.Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments.Experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS) and APIs.Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, strong problem‑solving, and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical users.Preferred Skills (Optional)Experience with private cloud environments, DevOps, and containerization (OpenShift).Scripting skills (Python, Bash) for automation.Citi is an equal opportunity employer.
