The role of Health, Safety and Environmental Officer is a challenging and varied position that requires the successful candidate to be proactive in managing all required HSE administrative functions.
Responsibilities include coordinating documentation change control procedure, responsibility for the administrative maintenance of our Client's Training Programme and Preventative Maintenance Programme, carrying out risk assessments, conducting inductions and training for new employees and visitors, internal audits, publishing quarterly KPIs, maintaining ADR/CVRT's for vehicles, downloading driver data and maintaining records on 12 weekly inspections.
Requirements
Degree level in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years experience in a relevant role.
Experience of implementing ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
Excellent Communication & team working skills with peers.
Excellent organisational skills and ability to organise workload.
Strong IT skills, proficient in MS Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
