Role: Operations Associate – onsite within our Operations teams. Located in our production facilities in Wexford, reporting to the Production Managers. Graduates will be rotated to a different site during the 2-year programme.

Responsibilities
* Gain experience in applying safe systems in a busy production environment.
* Problem solving and continuous improvement as part of a production/process team, using lean / six sigma techniques through our Performance System (GPS).
* Shift management: learn the production processes and manage daily activities.
* Work with a team of experienced operators to produce products to right-first-time quality and maximize throughput to meet customer requirements.
* Act as a key point of authority on the shift and resolve people-related issues; escalate production-impacting decisions as needed.
* Lead the daily shift handover meeting and ensure objectives are met with active participation.
* Maximise team understanding of performance against KPIs.
* Drive team performance through feedback, coaching, and training, coordinating systems, policies, and procedures to optimise multi-skilling across the team.
Requirements
* High academic record in Engineering, Food Science, or related discipline; minimum 2.2 honours degree.
* Aspiration to progress in operations and production within a dynamic environment.
* Commercial thinking with a customer-centric approach.
* Ability to collaborate and build partnerships to meet objectives.
* Clear communication and influencing skills at all levels.
* Desire to continually learn and grow; analytical mindset with ability to develop insights and implement change.
* Accessibility to move between production sites is a distinct advantage.
