Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing civil engineering contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex infrastructure works across the Irish market. They have built their name on technical capability, dependable project delivery and a long-term commitment to the sectors they operate in.
The business has carved out a respected position within the renewables and sustainable infrastructure space, working closely with utility providers, developers and public-sector stakeholders on schemes that play a direct role in supporting Ireland's transition to a cleaner energy future.
A consistent track record of repeat clients and a healthy forward order book have driven sustained growth, and the company is now actively expanding its delivery team. Internally, the culture is collaborative, accountable and grounded in strong technical values. People are trusted to take ownership of their work, supported by experienced leadership, and developed through structured progression rather than left to find their own way.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT & PROJECTS
You will be joining a tight-knit delivery team responsible for managing a varied portfolio of small to medium-scale civil works projects. The work spans a range of renewable and sustainable infrastructure schemes, giving you broad exposure to different site environments, ground conditions and engineering challenges across the region.
With 7–8 concurrent projects in your portfolio and individual contract values ranging from €500k up to €5m, no two weeks will look the same. You will have direct involvement across the full project lifecycle – from setting out and site establishment through to construction, coordination of subcontractors, quality assurance and final handover.
Reporting directly into the Lead Engineer and General Manager, you will benefit from short reporting lines, fast decision-making and real visibility within the business. It is a hands‑on, autonomous role suited to someone who is ready to take on more responsibility and grow into a senior position over time.
The team culture is practical, supportive and performance‑driven. There is a genuine focus on developing people, sharing knowledge across projects, and creating an environment where engineers can build a long‑term career rather than simply hold down a job.
