This company are a leading construction consultancy working across all sectors in the built environment. They are currently looking for a Director / Associate director to join their team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a diverse portfolio of high-profile national and international projects for leading private and public sector clients.
Base pay range
This range is provided by Macdonald & Company. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Responsibilities
* Lead projects and teams of project managers through all stages, including design, planning, construction, commissioning, and handover.
* Lead the Project Management Team, coordinate and chair project meetings, and prepare all necessary deliverables like Project Management Plans and programs.
* Provide initial programme, project briefs, and cost advice to clients, manage contractor and consultant appointments, and ensure projects are delivered to agreed quality, programme, and budgets.
* Be client facing and visit active sites to monitor progress and compile clear, professional reports.
Qualifications
* Degree in Construction, Engineering, Building Surveying, or Project Management
* At least 10 years of experience in the construction industry, ideally on Civil Infrastructure projects
* Strong technical knowledge of construction documentation, financials, and methodologies; proven experience delivering and managing multiple projects concurrently
* Experience with private and public sector clients, including public procurement processes (desirable)
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and report writing skills; ability to manage staff, multitask, and work effectively under pressure
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; scheduling software such as Primavera or Microsoft Project (ideally)
