PE Global Healthcare has a great opportunity for a Medical Scientist (Histology or Microbiology) based in a well-known South Dublin Hospital!The ideal candidate must be a dynamic Medical Scientist with an in-depth knowledge of and experience in Histology or Microbiology. The candidate must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a histology or microbiology laboratory since qualifying as a Medical Scientist.Role:To assist in the organisation and coordination of the Histopathology service.To assist in implementing and maintaining a quality management system that meets the requirements of ISO15189 and Joint Commission International (JCI).To assist in the training of Histopathology staff in the laboratory for the provision of routine services.To act as deputy for the Chief Medical Scientist when required and liaise with other senior personnel.Essential Requirements:Must be a fully qualified medical scientist and have at least 4 years of post-grad experience.Evidence of Registration with CORU must be supplied with the application.Familiarity with ISO15189 and JCI standards.
