Verification Engineer
Our company is seeking a skilled Verification Engineer to contribute to the success of our semiconductor business. This role will involve working closely with applications, verification, design, firmware, and systems architecture teams to ensure that our proprietary power devices are robust, spec compliant, and suitable for volume production.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and lead pre-silicon HW emulation and IC evaluation plans.
* Evaluate system performance of candidate designs for IC tapeout.
* Deliver and ensure completeness of HW emulation test-plans prior to IC tapeouts.
* Benchmark FPGA and IC applications performance against customer requirements/specifications.
* Develop methodologies and procedures to ensure high levels of data discipline and support HW platform robustness, repeatability of bench-level testing, and quality of results.
* Design, develop, and maintain HW platforms to support IC designs.
* Test protocol compliance of proprietary digital communications interfaces.
* Verify digital protocol interfaces for full specification compliance.
* Plan, track, and report project progress against key milestones.
* Manage projects, plan, and track status.
* Track and report issues structurally.
You will have a comprehensive background in power semiconductors/semiconductor physics and/or electronics engineering. You will approach tasks logically and have the ability to develop novel ideas. Your communication skills will enable seamless collaboration both internally and externally, and you will know how to build lasting relationships in international and cross-functional project teams.
This role requires a minimum of 3 days onsite work per week. The successful candidate will be based either in Cork or Limerick City, Ireland.
