Murphy is recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor Dublin Port to work with our Transportation & Infrastructureteam in Dublin Port (Hybrid role).

What you will be doing:
Prepare bottom-up forecasts at contract award stage.
Manage subcontract and material procurement schedules.
Draft supply chain ITTs and terms of engagement.
Ensure accurate month-end cost records and project accruals.
Maintain Cost-to-Complete and Risk Registers.
Prepare monthly CVRs and other required project reports.
Maximise cash position, including WIP control and cash-flow planning.
Identify commercial risks, opportunities, value engineering and change.
Lead cost control and cost-mitigation activities.
Measure quantities in line with standard methods of measurement.
Prepare valuations/applications for payment with full supporting documentation.
Administer contracts, manage change, and maintain commercial registers.
Manage subcontractor/supplier accounts through to final agreement.
Qualifications, experience & skills:
Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying/Construction Economics (RICS Accredited)
Desirable - Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) or equivalent.
Full driving license.
Commercially astute.
Excellent knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 forms of contract and CESSM4 method of Measurement
5+ years Experience.
Good communication skills including presentations and ability to negotiate and persuade others.
Programming techniques, project controls, risk analysis, contract admin, procurement, cost, claims.
Marine & Civils experience would be a distinct advantage
