Now, we're building a scalable, high-performance parts operation that matches that ambition.The Role.As a PSV Parts Advisor, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of EVM IRL's parts department, ensuring the accurate, timely supply of parts to support workshop activity and customer requirements. This role demands excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and extensive experience in parts management within the commercial vehicle sector. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining inventory, processing parts orders, and delivering exceptional customer service. Key job role includes: As the Parts Advisor, your job role will include, but not be limited to the following…Parts & Inventory Management· Manage stock levels to ensure high-demand parts are readily available while minimising overstock.· Receive, check, and book in delivered parts, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders.· Manage parts returns, discrepancies, and damaged goods in line with company procedures.· Conduct regular stock checks and participate in scheduled stocktakes and audit activity.· Maintain an organised, clean, and clearly labelled parts storage area.Order Processing & Job Support· Accurately process internal and external parts orders, ensuring correct parts selection and timely despatch.· Book parts accurately to workshop job cards to support cost control and job completion.· Support workshop planning by ensuring parts availability aligns with scheduled work.· Provide technical parts support and information to workshop and field service teams.Supplier & System Coordination· Liaise with suppliers to place orders, confirm lead times, and secure competitive pricing.· Maintain accurate parts records within the Dealer Management System (DMS).· Support finance and aftersales management with parts reconciliation and reporting where required.Customer Service· Provide expert advice on parts identification, compatibility, and usage.· Handle customer enquiries professionally, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution.· Maintain a high standard of customer service aligned with EVM's aftersales valuesPerformance will be measured against agreed KPIs including Parts first Pick, time to despatch, and audit compliance.You will be expected to work closely with workshop, warranty, aftersales management, and finance teams to ensure accurate stock taking, parts availability, and account reconciliation.Qualifications and Experience:· A minimum of 2 years' experience in a parts advisor role within the commercial vehicle / PSV / HGV sector.· Experience working with Pinnacle DMS, Kerridge or similar system is beneficial.· Strong acumen in IT systems including Office 365 and web-based portals for warranty claims.· Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.· Strong interpersonal skills.This position offers an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced parts advisor to grow their experience with a growing multi franchise company.
