TTM Healthcare are proud to partner with our client in the Public Sector to recruit a Temporary Grade IV Assistant Staff Officer to join their fast paced team in Sligo Town.
Location: Sligo
Contract Type: Temporary month to month initial contract
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (35 hours per week)
Rate of Pay: €19.50 – €30.07p/h depending on verified relevant public sector experience
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate flexibility, initiative, strong communication skills, data management and meeting administration. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a self-directed role and brings a strong grasp of IT systems.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office.
* Minute-taking for operational and clinical team meetings.
* Provide administrative support to the team, including appointment scheduling and calendar coordination.
* Monitor and manage email correspondence and communications with staff across the Region.
* Maintain and update internal databases with accuracy and attention to confidentiality.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of services.
* Perform general administrative duties as required – this role involves typing, filing, and report writing.
Essential Requirements
* Proven experience in an administrative or office management role.
* Fast and accurate typing skills, with experience in Dictaphone being highly beneficial.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry/management.
* High level of IT proficiency and the ability to quickly learn new systems and software.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Demonstrate experience in managing and maintaining databases.
* Ability to work independently and manage office operations without direct supervision.
