Scientist – Cell CultureLocation: DublinJob Type: ContractDuration: 11 months +About the RoleReporting through the Process Sciences Lead within the Manufacturing Science and Technology (MS&T) function, the Scientist will support cell culture operations and process sciences activities at a state‑of‑the‑art biopharmaceutical manufacturing site.You will play a key role in experimental design, data analysis, technical investigations, and process improvements with an end‑to‑end focus on product success.Key Responsibilities- Support and execute experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation to resolve complex cell culture deviations.Contribute to process improvement initiatives and troubleshooting activities.Provide technical support for investigations, new process introductions, and change implementations in commercial manufacturing operations.Author and review development operating procedures and technical reports.Support global regulatory submissions as required.Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies by:Maintaining appropriate LSS/CEM knowledge levels.Facilitating problem‑solving and risk‑assessment (e.g., FMEA) sessions.Driving continuous improvement through strong visibility of issues and solutions.Skills & Qualifications- Master's degree (or higher) in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, or related field.0–3 years' experience in the biopharmaceutical industry (cell culture experience preferred).Experience in drug substance process development, process characterization, mammalian cell technology, biochemistry, cell biology, fluid mechanics, and/or process modelling.Hands‑on experience executing laboratory experimental programs.Working knowledge of statistical design and analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Design Expert).Experience in technology transfer, regulatory filing, and commercial biologics manufacturing is an advantage.Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.Evidence of Continuous Professional Development (desirable).
