Unfortunately, due to unexpected family commitments, the candidate is now unable to take up the role. We are therefore reopening this competition and are looking forward to finding another outstanding Finance Manager to join our team.

We also manage a number of projects financed through the HSE, Tusla, Local Government and Philanthropy.
The Role
We are seeking to recruit a Finance Manager on a permanent basis in either a full-time or part-time capacity. The role reports directly to the CEO, manages a Finance & Administration Team, and oversees a budget of €4 million across a grant portfolio of 20 funders.
This position is based in Blackrock, Co. Dublin, with the option to work remotely up to two days per week (after probation). The full-time salary is €70,000 annually (pro-rated for part-time). The position is subject to a 6-month probationary period.
The Finance Manager will ensure that the company's internal controls, financial policies & processes, financial management and statutory reports are in compliance with Pobal and other funders' guidelines, best practices and statutory and regulatory guidelines. The Finance Manager will also support the efficient day-to-day running of the Finance function in the Organisation, manage the Finance Team members, and administration and reception staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of financial statements in line with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
* Oversight of bank accounts, cash flow, payroll, and bookkeeping functions.
* Regular financial reporting to the CEO, Board, and funders.
* Liaison with external auditors, preparation of audit files, and compliance with auditor recommendations.
* Management of project funding, grant reporting, and preparation of financial returns.
* Implementation and monitoring of financial policies, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
* Oversight of compliance with the Charities Regulator and Companies Registration Office requirements.
* Leadership and support of the Finance, Administration, and Reception teams.
Requirements
* Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA, CPA, ACA).
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role (including budgeting, management accounts, payroll); practice experience desirable.
* Strong IT skills and experience with accounting software (SORP, Xero, BrightPay an advantage).
* Excellent organisational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at all organisational levels i.e. Board Chair, Directors, Senior/Middle Management and Department Staff..
* Legal permission to work in Ireland.
