We are hiring a Digital Asset GD Transfer Agency Specialist, Assistant Vice President, to be a Transfer Agency (TA) subject matter expert in our Global Delivery (GD) function, participating in workstreams to build digital asset operations within State Street’s infrastructure. You will be responsible for sharing knowledge and expertise around current operational workflows, maintaining alignment with GD TA leadership, escalating any concerns to functional leadership, acquiring approvals for new models, and maintaining alignment with digital asset operations leadership. We expect this candidate to have an excellent risk mindset and be proficient in establishing an effective control environment. The ideal candidate should understand digital asset concepts and have intellectual curiosity to learn about digital asset servicing. This role will have a dual reporting line to GD TA leadership and digital asset operations leadership.
What You Will Be Responsible For
Participate in workstreams as a TA subject matter expert for digital asset operations across a portfolio of value streams to deliver digital asset capabilities
Foster alignment between value streams, manage interdependencies, and deliver value at an organizational level
Establish risk control procedures to ensure risk excellence across all capabilities
Partner with testing teams to develop, test, and enhance capability development in UAT and Production
Manage risks, resources, and stakeholder communications across the workstream
Provide regular communication and reporting updates to ensure full transparency and clarity of workstream delivery to both the functional leadership teams and digital asset operations leadership
What We Value
Knowledge of Transfer Agency systems, data flows, and overall operating model
Ability to escalated risks and decision points quickly to the appropriate stakeholders, whether functional, digital, or project leadership
Ability to review and vet a new operating model for viability and alignment with our existing infrastructure
Experience reviewing and approving cash movements for Transfer Agency clients and their shareholders
Collaboration with other Transfer Agency business units as well as other departments within State Street
Experience executing on a project as a critical stakeholder, including excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
Experience in Transfer Agency operations and strong working knowledge of day-to-day Transfer Agency responsibilities and processes
Education & Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline
Ability to excel when faced with the unknown and challenged to develop new ways
Excellent communication and escalation ability
Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and external stakeholders
Hands‑on experience with digital assets and wallets, distributed ledger technology, tokenization is preferred
