Key Activities
* Actively lead and develop research and robust evidence-based policy analysis, informed by country/regional programme experience, to influence key stakeholders at Irish, northern Irish, EU and global level.
* Produce high-quality written policy material on climate justice and other areas of Oxfams work for public dissemination, including campaign literature.
* Keep up to date on the latest in academic and public policy developments in relevant policy areas and reflect these learnings back into the wider organisation.
* Oversee the commissioning and management of pieces of research in the areas of climate justice to underpin our advocacy work.
* Organise conferences, events and seminars with Oxfam colleagues and with partners across the island.
* Work with the Oxfam International Secretariat in the development of research and policy and interpretate shared Oxfam policy for the Irish context.
Person Specification
* Relevant third level qualification, Masters desirable
* Experience producing policy papers and analysis
* Excellent communication skills
* Collegiate, energetic, thoughtful and willing to learn
