Job Title: Senior Environmental Coordinator
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Environmental Coordinator, where you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of planning applications and environmental assessments for renewable energy projects. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all environmental aspects are properly assessed and managed.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support the development of environmental assessment reports, including EIA and AA Screening documents, Planning & Environmental Reports, Environmental Impact Assessment Reports, and Appropriate Assessments/Natura Impact Statement reports.
* Manage the coordination of baseline environmental and constraints assessments and facilitate communication between project team members.
* Assist the planning team in keeping up to date with planning/environmental legislation, policy decisions, and updates to national, regional, and local authority development plans by reviewing and identifying key developments for our projects.
* Contribute to company submissions as required.
* Work with the Communications and Engagement team to develop effective project plans for managing consultation with local communities and other relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
* Hons Degree (Lvl 8 FETAC) in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent.
* Postgraduate (Lvl 9 FETAC) qualification in a relevant discipline desirable but not essential.
* Minimum of 3 years experience assisting with/inputting into planning applications and environmental assessments.
* Proven knowledge and experience in project development for planning applications, particularly in coordinating and managing environmental assessments.
* Strong experience working with and managing multidisciplinary project teams.
