Your New Role
As a Senior Site Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of complex construction projects in the Dublin region. You will be responsible for overseeing engineering activities on-site, ensuring technical accuracy, coordinating with design teams, and supporting the Site Manager in achieving project milestones.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate all engineering aspects of the project on-site.
* Set out and level the site in accordance with project drawings and specifications.
* Liaise with architects, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure technical compliance.
* Monitor quality control and ensure works are carried out to the highest standards.
* Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation.
* Support the Site Manager in planning and scheduling work.
* Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a positive team environment.
What You'll Need to Succeed
* Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
* Minimum 5+ years' experience in a site engineering role, ideally with a Tier One contractor.
* Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
* Proficiency in setting out, surveying equipment, and interpreting technical drawings.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
* Full driving licence and flexibility to work on Dublin-based sites.
