Operations Manager - Primary Care Clinics Location: Nationwide, hybrid role with in-person and remote work options available. Department: Operations Reports to: Operations Lead, Hybrid Health Type: Full-time, Permanent Start: Q2 2026 Role Overview is launching its first in-person Primary Care clinics in Dublin, combining in-person primary care with its digital health platform. The company is seeking a highly organised, hands-on Operations Manager to support the Operations Lead in overseeing the setup, launch, and operational running of the new physical clinic network in Merrion Sq, Cherrywood, and Swords. This role will play a critical part in bringing the hybrid health clinic model to life. The successful candidate will coordinate clinic setup, manage operational readiness, support day-to-day site performance, and act as the operational link between practice secretaries, clinicians, central teams, and senior management. This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in early-stage environments, and is comfortable being a jack-of-all-trades, from analysing costs to coordinating staff and ensuring services can scale as the business grows. Key Responsibilities 1. Clinic Setup & Launch Support the Operations Lead in operational planning and execution for all clinic setup activities, including fit-out, IT, compliance readiness, staff hiring, and onboarding. Coordinate staff, suppliers, and internal stakeholders throughout the build and pre-opening phase. Establish operational workflows aligned with clinical governance, regulatory requirements, and Webdoctors digital model. Create and maintain clinic readiness checklists, risk registers, and launch plans. Support practice secretaries and clinical staff in preparing the clinics for opening. 2. Day-to-Day Operational Management Visit sites regularly to ensure smooth daily operations and adherence to quality standards, including Health & Safety and infection prevention guidelines. Monitor clinic utilisation, booking patterns, and patient flow, identifying operational bottlenecks and improvement opportunities. Collaborate closely with practice secretaries to manage staffing, bookings, clinical stock, and other day-to-day management tasks. 3. Financial & Performance Oversight Assist the Operations Lead to track and report on key operational KPIs, including capacity, costs, utilisation, cancellations, and revenue. Assist with budget tracking, supplier cost control, and forecasting clinic resource needs. Evaluate operational efficiencies and propose improvements linked to cost, performance, or patient experience. 4. Continuous Improvement & Scaling Identify areas to streamline operational workflows, reduce friction, and improve the hybrid healthcare model experience. Document and refine SOPs to ensure consistency as additional clinics open. Support future site evaluations and new clinic rollouts. Ensure digital-to-physical integration is seamless by feeding back operational issues to engineering and product teams where digital solutions could improve performance. Key Skills & Experience Essential Over 3 years experience in operations, project coordination, or general management, ideally in primary care or another healthcare setting. Strong organisational, logistical, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working hands-on and independently in a fast-moving setup environment. Strong numeracy skills, with the ability to track costs, understand budgets, and interpret operational metrics. Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities. Availability for weekly on-site presence across all sites. Willingness to travel to new clinic sites nationwide as the business expands. Ability to juggle competing priorities and move between strategic planning and tactical tasks. Desirable Experience launching or running a clinical site. Exposure to healthcare operations or regulated environments. Project management experience, with a formal qualification welcome but not required.
