Job Description
We are now recruiting for a Part-time Activities Coordinator to join the care team for 24 hours a week including working every second weekend.
Responsibilities
Co-ordinate and contribute to an activities programme, including both one-to-one activities and group sessions.
Utilise activities such as arts and crafts, sports, games, music, beauty, social recreation, hobbies and sensory stimulation taking into account the needs and interests of individual members and the collective group of residents.
Ascertain and interpret group interests, evaluate equipment and facilities, and adapt activities to meet participant needs.
Qualifications and Experience
Experience in a similar role essential.
Experience of working with older people desirable.
Must have good communication skills and be eligible to work in Ireland.
