How You Can Help
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Finance Analyst to join the IP billing Controlling Principal Operations team in IMPO. The IP billing team enables the J&J Tax model, focusing on simplifying and reducing intercompany charges. The team maximizes synergy and value creation by optimizing financial flows and centralizing currency risk.
The analyst will support existing and future IP billing models, providing financial leadership and driving operational excellence in reporting processes and systems. System and process improvements, business partnering with global stakeholders, and supporting financial model development are key responsibilities.
Financial Planning & Reporting
* Lead the process for collecting and consolidating actuals and budgets related to IP billing models, maintaining timelines, templates, and calculations.
* Partner with finance stakeholders to communicate reporting requirements and ensure accurate management reporting.
* Calculate IP billing allocations, report impacts, and implement new financial models based on data interpretation.
* Ensure audit readiness of billing models.
Business Analysis and Support
* Partner with finance teams supporting IP billing models, SigniFX, R&D, Supply Chain, Tax, and Global Functions on initiatives like financial flow optimization and cross-charging.
* Participate in developing and implementing new financial IP billing models to optimize flows.
* Identify efficiencies and new opportunities for a centralized intercompany billing hub.
* Perform ad hoc analyses for management.
Project Work
* Lead the global SigniFi CICO project, ensuring design and requirements are met, engaging with cross-regional teams, and supporting process design and application development.
* Finalize the Power BI tool implementation for IP billing models.
* Contribute to critical technology projects to meet business objectives.
* Champion process improvements and best practices.
* Support the IMPO team in achieving goals and fostering a high-performance culture.
People Management
* Mentor direct reports, drive performance, and promote a positive work environment focused on efficiency and accuracy through process improvements.
What You Need to Succeed
* Bachelor’s Degree and financial certification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA) with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
* Strong financial, analytical, and digital skills; result-oriented.
* Technical accounting knowledge (GAAP, Supply Chain, Commercial) is a plus.
* Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; Alteryx and PowerBI preferred.
* Excellent communication skills, ability to handle complexity, and drive change under tight deadlines.
* Motivated, proactive, and eager to challenge the status quo.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with good prioritization and trust-building skills.
