Joining KPMG Ireland is an opportunity to enhance your career, not only in the work that you enjoy doing, but equally through the global connections that you make, the lifelong learning that you can accomplish and the chance to make your mark.Are you our nextManager – ALM & Liquidity Quant?Location: Dublin 1, as part of our hybrid working model.Grade:ManagerContract type:PermanentA snapshot of your peer groupProfessionals with strong quantitative and analytical backgrounds, typically holding third-level qualifications or MSc in disciplines such as mathematics, applied mathematics, physics, statistics, econometrics, or actuarial science.Many will have additional certifications like CFA or FRM.Experienced individuals (5+ years) in quantitative analysis roles, often within risk management, advisory, or consulting.Colleagues with proven track records in leading quantitative projects, particularly in developing and validating behavioural models for IRRBB, Liquidity, and Treasury Risk.Advanced technical skills in data analytics and statistical software (SAS, R, Python, Visual Basic).Strong communicators who can explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.People who are curious about emerging regulatory topics and contribute to thought leadership initiatives.Your responsibilities and achievements will evolve as you enhance your career with us. Here is what you can initially expect:Apply statistical techniques and analytical methods to design, develop, implement, test, and validate risk models.Support clients in quantitative analysis and translate findings into actionable insights for solving complex business problems.Assist clients in evaluating governance, policies, and frameworks for risk management (both quantitative and qualitative) for internal, regulatory, and reporting purposes.Interpret new regulatory requirements related to quantitative risk management and advise clients on compliance strategies.Engage with client stakeholders to understand their risk practices and benchmark against best practices.Assess data quality underlying risk models and calibration processes.Research emerging regulatory topics and develop solutions to help clients adapt to evolving requirements.KPMG's Risk & Regulatory Consulting PracticeOur Risk and Regulatory Consulting team are experienced in managing diverse risk and regulatory issues including credit risk, governance, operational risk, conduct risk, fraud & financial crime, regulatory compliance, data breaches, cyber-attacks, technology risk, risk modelling, capital efficiency, and many more.In Ireland we have over 250 Risk and Regulatory specialists who are supported by our wider global network to ensure multinational capability.
