They are currently seeking a Sales Manager to support continued growth. About Your New Job Lead and manage the full commercial sales process from initial inquiry to contract award Identify, qualify, and engage new and existing commercial clients across sectors Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders such as architects, developers, and engineers. Conduct site assessments and client consultations Collaborate with engineers/designers to develop system layouts, energy yield forecasts, and technical solutions that are aligned with regulatory and financial standards. Prepare and deliver high-quality proposals, tenders, ROI models, and financial justifications for both private and public-sector clients. Prepare and manage formal bids, tenders, and submissions for larger-scale opportunities. Assist clients in accessing financial incentives and grants Track and report on sales performance, pipeline activity, and key accounts Provide regular feedback to management regarding customer needs, competitive activity, pricing strategy, and growth opportunities. Attend industry trade shows, conferences, seminars, and client meetings as required. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including marketing, telesales, and operations to support client success and lead generation. What Skills Are Required A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related technical discipline is essential. Additional business, commercial or sales-related education is desirable. Minimum 35 years experience in a technical sales or business development role Demonstrated ability to lead the full commercial sales process Full clean driving license and willingness to travel across Ireland for client meetings and site assessments. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Strong relationship-building abilities with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders Right to work in Ireland without sponsorship.
