You will be part of a dynamic and fast-paced team that partners with multiple internal departments as well as our Retail Partners. This role is suited to a qualified accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building and managing relationships, and has an interest in commercial finance.ResponsibilitiesManage Musgrave’s financial risk opposite our Retail Partners, while advising, coaching, and mentoring them on all financial aspects of their business.Prepare and evaluate business cases and communicate outputs clearly to senior management, verbally and in writing.Work on divestments and acquisitions, demonstrating project management from start to finish.Collaborate with the Business Development Team to assess potential new business and attend the Regional Business Development Forum as required.Prepare, present, and support proposals to the Musgrave Credit Committee to protect Musgrave sales while working with retailers, financing banks, and other stakeholders to reach fair solutions.Support the Credit Manager and in-house legal counsel to ensure governance of financial risk and proper legal documentation where required.Manage client relationships.QualificationsQualified accountant with a minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience (corporate finance background is advantageous).Positive, team-oriented attitude.Highly numeric and analytical with strong systems orientation, including Microsoft Excel.Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at a senior level.Interest in working in a fast-paced, client-facing, commercial role.Experience in the FMCG/Retail industry is advantageous.Full driving license.Why MusgraveCareer Development: Opportunities for personal and professional growth.Collaborative Environment: A passionate team where your contributions matter.Innovation Focus: A company that values forward-thinking solutions.Community Focus: A company that values communities and strives to make a positive impact.Be Part of a Legacy: A long-standing commitment to community and innovation.Are you ready to make a difference?
