Commercial Finance Manager Role Overview
This is a key position within our client's organisation, responsible for supporting the group's financial performance through providing expert financial insights and guidance across various operational areas.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record of delivering results in manufacturing finance environments.
Main Responsibilities
* Financial Forecasting and Planning: Prepare and deliver accurate financial forecasts, working closely with stakeholders to drive business growth.
* Financial Process Management: Oversee financial processes across the plant, ensuring compliance with internal control systems and safeguarding financial information.
* Operational Excellence: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cost efficiency and productivity.
* Cost Performance Tracking: Lead the Cost Performance Tracker process, analysing costs and implementing initiatives to reduce expenditure.
* Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Continuous Improvement (CI), to implement cost-saving initiatives and educate plant personnel on key performance metrics.
Educational Requirements
* Accountancy qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA).
* Relevant accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
Desirable Skills and Experience
Proven leadership in manufacturing, including operational planning, cost reduction, forecasting, and investment analysis. Additionally, experience as a Finance Manager, Commercial Finance Manager, or Financial Controller in a manufacturing setting would be highly beneficial.
