Senovo IT is looking for an SAP Lead for the Automotive Domain in Dublin. The role is a hybrid contract (freelancer) arrangement.
Job Title: SAP Tower Lead – Automotive Domain

Role Summary: The SAP Tower Lead – Automotive Domain is responsible for managing SAP solutions within a designated functional tower for a leading automotive client. The role involves overseeing SAP implementations, enhancements, and support activities aligned with automotive industry standards and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead SAP tower operations for the automotive client, ensuring seamless delivery of SAP services.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand automotive-specific requirements (e.g., production planning, inventory management, vendor scheduling).
* Manage SAP projects including rollouts, upgrades, and enhancements across modules like SAP PP, MM, SD, QM, and EWM.
* Ensure integration with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), PLM, and other automotive systems.
* Drive continuous improvement and innovation in SAP processes to support lean manufacturing and just-in-time delivery models.
* Monitor KPIs and SLAs for SAP support and ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., IATF 16949).
* Coordinate with offshore/onshore teams and external vendors for support and development.
* Provide leadership and mentorship to SAP consultants and analysts within the tower.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
* 8+ years of SAP experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
* Strong domain knowledge in automotive manufacturing and supply chain processes.
* Expertise in SAP modules relevant to automotive (e.g., PP/QM, MM/MDG, WM, SD, GRC/Security/PAM, Ariba, BOBJ, DS, IS, GTS, QM, Basis).
* Experience with SAP ECC is highly preferred and understanding of multiple modules.
* Proven track record in managing SAP implementations or support for automotive clients.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* SAP certification in relevant modules.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
* Understanding of automotive standards and compliance frameworks.
