We are urgently seeking a Staff Nurse - Theatre Scrub for a hospital in Cork Ireland.
Nurses will be required to work days, nights, and weekends.
Responsibilities
To provide all patients with high-quality, individualized care by determining their requirements and then independently planning, executing, and analyzing those needs.
The position requires flexibility in order to work across all specializations inside the division.
In addition to being a knowledgeable resource offering patients top-notch care and serving as a knowledge basis for colleagues, the theatre team leader will serve as an outstanding role model.
In the absence of the Theatre Coordinator or as assigned by them, to assume direct managerial responsibility for the clinical area.
To support the growth and leadership of a designated group of practitioners within the unit complement.
Requirements
Registration with the NMBI or a comparable organization.
A clear dedication to patient safety and quality.
It is necessary to have at least two years of postgraduate acute care nursing experience in a theatre.
Experience as a theatre nurse and current understanding of theatre procedures.
Knowledge of Orthopaedics.
Outstanding organizational abilities.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
