The Role: The role will involve close collaboration with Process Area Subject Matter Experts and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure MES templates are designed in alignment with operational, quality, and compliance requirements. A minimum on-site presence of three days per week is preferred. Subject to performance and project demand, the scope of the role is expected to expand to include full Electronic Batch Record (EBR) design and development activities. Responsibilities: Design, configure, and develop MES logbook and record templates aligned to defined process area requirements. Define and implement MES workflow strategies to support different template and record types. Produce detailed design specifications, process flows, and supporting documentation using tools such as Visio or Adonis. Prepare, maintain, and update MES Configuration Specifications (MESCS) in line with site and quality standards. Coordinate and lead MES template shakedown testing with Process Area Subject Matter Experts. Develop and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities in accordance with site change control and validation requirements. Support integration activities between the MES platform and Level 2 and Level 4 systems across relevant interfaces. Assist with MES master data migration and user management configuration. Provide technical support during deployment and early lifecycle operation of MES solutions. Requirements: Proven experience working with MES platforms, preferably Apprentice Tempo or Werum PAS-X (SaaS). Experience supporting electronic logbooks, MES templates, or EBR solutions within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of biologics drug product manufacturing processes, procedures, and associated automation systems. Demonstrated ability to develop clear, structured technical and validation documentation. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
