What you'll do
* Assembly & Integration: Perform precision hand-soldering of surface-mount (SMT) and through-hole components onto complex Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) used in satellite systems.
* Testing & Diagnostics: Execute functional testing of electronic assemblies using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers to ensure performance meets space-grade specifications.
* Prototyping: Assist engineering teams in the assembly and modification of early-stage prototypes for photonic and optical communication hardware.
* Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and repair hardware defects or failures down to the component level.
* Documentation: Maintain detailed records of build logs, test results, and quality control checklists to ensure full traceability.
Who you are
* Have a degree or diploma in Electronics Engineering Technology or a related field, with strong proficiency in soldering and PCB rework.
* Have experience working under microscopes and handling ESD-sensitive components with extreme precision.
* You enjoy deconstructing complex electronic issues and finding efficient hardware solutions.
* You thrive in a multi-disciplinary environment, working closely with photonics and software engineers.
* Knowledge of IPC standards (e.g., IPC-A-610) or experience in aerospace/defense manufacturing is highly desirable.
