The Project Engineer will be a highly skilled and motivated person, responsible for leading the engineering aspects of a transformative new project, involving innovative materials, and cutting edge production equipment, which will be separate to Freefoam's current operations.The project will involve the development of a new manufacturing centre, separate to the Freefoam facility at Centre Park Road, including the installation of primary equipment and the establishment of essential supporting infrastructure leading to successful production startup.The ideal candidate will have expertise in materials engineering, equipment installation and infrastructure development, with strong project management capabilities.Role Responsibilities:Research and oversee the design, planning, and installation of primary manufacturing equipmentCoordinate infrastructure development to support the new manufacturing centreCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met on scheduleImplement and monitor quality control standards and safety protocolsProvide technical solutions and support throughout the project lifecycleProvide comprehensive administrative support, including but not limited to document management, scheduling, correspondence, and record-keeping, grant applications and submissions, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines and deadlinesSupport the development of long term capital plans, and contribute to strategic investment decisionsEnsure all projects are executed in accordance with company policies and with industry best practiceThe successful candidate will have the following skills, experience and attributes:Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering (Materials, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field)Relevant experience in managing manufacturing equipment installations and infrastructure projectsStrong knowledge of innovative materials and manufacturing technologiesExcellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentExcellent project management skills with proficiency in tools such as MS Project, AutoCAD, or similarEligibility to live and work in the EU, fluent English, both written and spokenConfident, enthusiastic individual with a "can do" attitudeWe do not require the assistance of third party recruiters at this time.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany pensionOn-site parkingApplication question(s):Do you have experience in managing manufacturing equipment installations and infrastructure projectsLicence/Certification:Bachelor's Degree or Higher in Engineering (required)Work Location: In person
