Over the past eleven months, we have appointed three new Insurance Partners, relocated to prestigious new offices on Harcourt Street, Dublin, and secured several new high-profile clients.As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking to recruit a Solicitor to join our Major Injury & Casualty team.We act for a number of well-known insurer clients and provide high quality advice on a wide range of matters that are of significant value, resulting in an interesting and rewarding set of cases for you to work on.The team handle a range defendant personal injury files including Employers Liability (EL) / Public Liability (PL), Motor, Large Loss and Counter Fraud matters,The role is hybrid, and the successful individual will be expected to work a minimum of 2 days per week from the Dublin office.If you're interested in being part of a dynamic, expanding team within one of the world's largest insurance law firms, we'd love to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesTo handle in your own right a defendant personal injury caseload, whilst also providing some support to more senior team members.Drafting court documents, attending court hearings, working to court deadlinesConducting liability investigations, gathering evidence, preparing advice to clients, identifying medical experts and preparing instructionsReviewing medical records and other case related documentsProviding the highest level of client care at all timeWhat will help you succeed in this role?Essential;A qualified Solicitor or equivalentA team player who takes great pride in the quality of your work.Previous experience handling in your own right or supporting a senior team member with a litigated, defendant Casualty caseload including EL/PL, Occupational Health or Disease.The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks, whilst working to strict deadlines.Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to quickly and carefully analyse files and sensitive data.Computer literate including proficient use of Microsoft Office.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.What we offer?At DWF, we deeply appreciate the significance of offering a comprehensive rewards package that extends beyond a basic salary.
